Georgie Harris, vocalist of the now-defunct Atlanta garage twang quartet Roadkill Debutante, was trained by hymnal, radio, back porch, and performance hall to produce a defiant, southern-based sound. Fancying herself a Linda Ronstadt but having once been hailed as “reminiscent of Kim Deal, a little of The Breeders meets Houndmouth,” (-Christina Pradhan, OpenEars Music), Georgie uses song to ponder shifting perspectives on love, death, and elation.
