Reverend Hylton

Justin Hylton has toured the nation with his Americana songs of relatable tales of life experiences. Heartbreak, addiction, partying, traveling and having a good time are the substance of his melodic musical, lyrical and vocal writings.

Inspired by life, Justin’s lyrical undertones stem from “…seeing life just happen, living in the present and appreciating the beauty that we are surrounded with daily.”

From the stage to the crowd, a real performance is heard. Real words, sung by a real man, with real meaning make for an authentic time shared by both Justin and the crowd.

As a guitarist, Justin’s musical influences started at a young age. “I have been interested in music for most of my life. I played trombone in band until I was 16. At that age I was getting into a lot of trouble and my mom would send me to my Grandfathers. That was where I learned to play the guitar. My grandfather was learning the banjo and we would sit on the porch and pick for days.”

A Georgia native, Justin has lived and traveled the United States. Currently living in “3down” (Marietta), Georgia, being an artist has paved the way for him to express himself, “It helps me stay sane in a sometimes insane world.”.

Justin finds new influences every day by listening to music and getting deep into the lyrics and feelings behind different songs. Justin is always looking for something new and feels the creative undertone of the music he hears. Anyone who can express themselves in their own way is the cornerstone of his influence.

Blood on the Harp
Hailing from Atlanta, GA, Blood on the Harp bills themselves as simply, Songs about Death. This Americana/Folk string band is a ghostly tribute to the unfortunate struggles that life brings, as written and told by singer/frontman Miguel Olascuaga. Backed by punk rock, jazz, classical violin, and outlaw influences, BOTH bring out the call of the grave. Combined, this band is a solemn turn of the century gospel melody with a modern day string band fusion.
Cold Heart Canyon
Cold Heart Canyon defies the definitions of Americana and Bluegrass with real Ameripolitan music. They’re a group of urban outlaws in touch with their roots, presenting music in a way that is not for the faint of heart. Cold Heart Canyon are some instrument swapping, foot stomping, swearing sons of guns. Edgy, eclectic, and energetic, CHC takes a twisted stab at tradition with an added dark sound that's raw and rowdy, yet refined. This night marks the release of their debut studio recording, “Wolves, Demons, & Drunks”.
Caleb Warren & The Perfect Gentlemen
“10 pounds of fun in a five-pound sack and a rollicking good time…New wine in an old bottle… If you need something to smile about, if you’ve had a bad day and just want to feel good for a while, the Gentlemen (and the Lady) are the prescription.” – The Chattanooga Pulse

Caleb Warren and the Perfect Gentlemen are indeed the “New wine in an old bottle” that fits the prescription for a new generation of revivalists. They bridge the gap between the music of the old-timey speakeasies and juke joints with the voice of a new generation by blending the timeless traditions of Americana and Western Swing with a uniquely hot and fresh flavor that transcends genre. Their acoustic brass ‘n’ brew-grass tunes include raucous barnburners and heart-breaking ballads that continue to intoxicate audiences with performances of the highest spirits. Whether on the river or on the rug, Caleb & the Gents are here to serve and sweep you off your feet, so drink ‘em down and get ready to dance!

Caleb Warren and the Perfect Gentlemen is led by the compelling crooner Caleb Warren, whose engaging lyrics and rhythm guitar keeps the audience swingin’ and swayin’. He’s accompanied by Colt Bowen (percussion), Dave Aitken (lead guitar and banjo), Jenna Mobley (fiddle), Robert Green (trumpet), and Ian Blanton (upright bass). Caleb Warren hails from Chattanooga, TN while the rest of the band is based in Atlanta, GA. A few influences include Django Reinhardt, Jimmie Rodgers, and Tampa Red. Their inspiring ability to communicate and stay in sync, despite their technical complexity, is only surpassed by their strong solos and independent personalities that come across in their performances as individuals and a lively unified organism with a truly organic sound.

So if you can swing it, come early, stay late, and don your dancing shoes, and spend a night of entertainment with this toe-tappin’, foot-stompin’, genre bendin’, string strummin’ fusion band. They’re rough and rowdy, technical and tight, but never ever high-strung. These tunes will have you cutting a rug before you know it. Every chance they get to churn out tunes, they’re always set up and ready to go. They’re a rare vintage ripped, ready, and rarin’ to exercise and celebrate the right to perform their craft.
